Just wondered if there were any furniture restorers on here! Looking to repair the slightly sunken seat on this Peter Hoyte chair, we've opened up the base, not sure what kind of foam to use? Any advice gratefully accepted!

Contact Peter Hoyte?
You could try contacting Peter Hoyte himself (not sure if he is still alive):

Peter Hoyte 'Club' Chair
I was interested to read that you are re making some of the old PH chairs. I have a 'Club' chair made at the workshop in Farnham in 1970. At least I think thats what its called. Its not quite like the one in the picture and has a head rest and matching stool. It still works well but the vinyl needs replacing. Could you advise me on possibility of doing this.
Many thanks

Just following up in regards to Peter Hoyte chairs.
In one of my earlier posts I was looking for information on a chair and was by  told it was by Peter Hoyte by a couple of members .

I am now looking to reupholster the chair and have been looking to try find any photographs of chair as it was.
I did see one photo some time ago but can’t locate this now.
Just wanted to see if anyone could help out with photos.
I did find reference to Peter Hoyte on VADS.ac.uk which stated that he made his two prototype chairs in his garage whilst working in a factory producing seats for the aircraft industry. Apparently he left to start his career as a designer and furniture maker in 1959.
The article said he used glass fiber shells for his chairs . The chair i have has a sub frame of metal similar to a Bertoia
This makes me a little unsure that the chair I have is by Peter Hoyte.
It would be great to find out more so if anyone can shed any more light that would be appreciated.
