SE119 chairs by german architect Egon Eiermann, made in the 1960s. Originally, the purpose of them was to serve as chairs in a church. Therefor all chairs are equipped with a hook for hats and bags on the back, a very unique feature. They served for quite a long time, which shows on the multiple signs of use all over the chairs. Due to there high build quality, the still rocksolid, the flaws are of pure cosmetically nature. After around 3 decades of use in the church, the chairs went to a private owner, who was a member of the church. There they served as seats on family gatherings, when many chairs were needed. The color is kind of hard to describe and varies between dark grey, green and brown. The height of the seatingarea measures 48 cm. — If you got any questions or want to see further pictures, please feel free to contact us.
