This lamp has got an subtle shape and a beautiful wood combination of walnut veneer, and dark beech together with a delicate floral pattern on the curved lampshade. This Art Deco piece is the perfect companion for anyone who likes to read in style. The floor lamp was originally designed in 1930’s in the legendary UP Brno Factory (where Jindrich Halabala was an Art Director at the time), and due to its popularity stayed in production in various slightly different models until the late 1950’s. This piece is fully functional and in overall perfect condition. All parts are original, except for new wiring. What makes this piece truly unique is the lampshade. It it really rare to find an original lampshade in such a great condition without any damage or visible wear. All wooden parts have been recently completely refurbished to their former glory. Our experienced craftsman has carried the restoration to the highest standard, using a French polishing technique and Shellac varnish to hand finish the entire piece.
