DESIGN 21 announces winners of ‘Languages Matter!’

DESIGN 21 announces winners of ‘Languages Matter!’, a contest to design the official poster for International Mother Language Day and promote multilingualism. They received over 1,100 submissions from 82 countries!!
 
After reviewing all of the entries based on creativity, cultural
sensitivity and technical ability, UNESCO has picked the overall
winner: Anna Notara Koutroumpaki, a communication designer from Greece,
for her ‘Mother Language Must Live’ design. Other selected winners
include two ‘D21 Judges’ Picks,’ the ‘Most Popular’ design and ten
honorable mentions.
