I picked up a pretty nice Kofod Larsen lounge chair recently ( at least I thin it is as Lawrence Peabody's seem to sometimes be attributed as Kofod Larsen) and while the cushions were decent, they are pretty garish. I'll post some images once I get them back from the cleaners.

The inserts needed some replacing as they look like they were hacked together pieces of polyfill over very thin foam. With that in mind I was considering haviong replacement cushions made.

I love Knoll Boucle and wanted to do something a bit more high end for it.

What do you guys think?

I think I've never met a he-man that gave a second thought to upholstery fabrics. That said, there's nothing wrong with Knoll boucle.

Thanks so much for the reassurances. I think I'll do it.

It's not a permanent change to the chair, so why not do what you like!  Also, Classic Boucle wears well and is very comfortable to sit on.  Looks and feels like wool but isn't scratchy.
