Hi all,

I am currently restoring a Folke Ohlsson for Dux scissor chair. The top horizontal cross rail attaches to the side-arms by means of keyhole connectors. However, one end of the top rail was badly damaged and is missing the 'male' part of the hardware - a plate with a protruding pan-head screw that slots into the receiver plate on the arm. I have attached pictures of the hardware from the other side of the chair.

Does anyone have any idea where to source this hardware? I can find some keyhole plates online but the male part seems to be harder to find, or at least harder to google! All info appreciated!

My standard answer for this type of quest is:

Search endlessly online for someone who parted out a similar chair

obtain a donor chair that is broken but has the part you need

have a machine shop fabricate one.

I do no know of an online resource dedicated to obscure replacement parts for furniture and lamps but given how many people post here, on Facebook groups and Reddit looking for small obscure parts I really want to start that business.
