Has intentional UV bleaching really worked for anyone? Say a 1960s table like the 212 has had 50 years of sun bleaching. I am guessing it would need a very long time to lighten up the leaves. A restorer once told me about placing pieces under UV lights. Not something he had done but had heard of. Just wondering if this has really worked for anyone.
Regarding the Moller 78s, like the other posters a job for a competent person. I think you could save the upholstery and have the chairs refinished. Its well worth putting some money into the chairs.
A note on the upholstery, another job for a competent person. I have seen loads of newly upholstered chairs and they look terrible. The lines of the seat frame are lost which I think is an integral part of the design. For me old leather is much more appealing than new.
