Hi everyone!
During the last months I collected several white String ladders to build up a new shelf for our living room. Now that I've got all the parts I need, some restauration work has to be done.
Besides dust and slight discolorations, some of the ladders have blemishes, where the plastic isolation of the ladders peeled off (picture below).
Anyone has experience in repairing string ladders or has an idea how to do it?
Thank you very much in advance guys!

Thanks, but removing the coat completly isn't really an option ... besides probably beeing expensive. Otherweise I could buy them new from String, as they reissued the shelfing system. At least some variants as they do not offer that much measures than in the past.
Any idea for just repairing the damaged spots?
Sugru is great.
Prodip could be another solution for repairing larger surface but it's less sturdy than Sugru.
