Does anyone know how to repair the upholstery on an eames armshell when the fabric has lifted off of the foam below? I am considering injecting glue (rubber cement?) and then smoothing out the surface, however the glue may soak through the fabric potentially?
How was the fabric, either girard or naugahyde attached to the foam in the first place?
