I have this Thurston "cricket" lamp with a chunk out of the shade. Since it needs a repaint anyway (very scratched up in places not pictured),I am going to repair (fill and file/sand) the missing piece. The mounting hole is actually intact. Does anyone know what type of plastic these shade were made from? Thanks.

I have given up being obsessive and have repaired it with a marine paste epoxy of the kind that comes in a stick form that you knead. It has the required features of being amenable to sanding and painting. Does anyone know if these came in colors other than black, white, red, or putty (like mine)?
