Hi all
Just picked up a Ib Kofod Larsen lounge chair and need replacements webbing and cushions. Does anyone know a resource for the cushions. Looking online the back cushion isn't a standard rectangle. I am sure a competent upholster could do the job but maybe there is someone who somewhat specializes in this?
Any ideas?

Are you talking about the way the back curves to fit the human spine? I've done a few of these and it's not too hard. You just do a bunch of razor cuts into the foam on the concave curves, parallel top and bottom sides of the cushion. The cuts should center over the curves of the frame. I did a side view drawing of the cushion to illustrate this. These cuts are NOT to scale! Always start shallow and few in number and then cut more deeply and add cuts as needed until the foam conforms to the chair frame without having to be pushed into place at any point.
On the concave curves, you have to remove foam, so make the cuts at an angle so they form V shaped channels. When the curve is just right, apply spray adhesive to the sides of the groves and press them together. Batting will bridge the gaps of the cuts that open up on the convex curves. If you do more cuts closer together, none of them will have to open up much.
Note: the side panels of the cushion cover MUST be cut to this new curved shape. If you cut the usual rectangle, it'll ripple and look awful. The front and back panels of the cover can be rectangles, of course.
The alternative is to get a softer density of latex foam, which MIGHT conform to the curves on its own because it's much floppier than urethane foam. It would probably still help to cut the side panels of the fabric cover to fit the curves, though.

Do you have other questions? If you haven't made cushions before, you could just show this to an upholsterer. I'd rather keep the discussion here, if that's ok---others have asked about it in the past and I've seen enough of them done without the shaping to know that there's a need.
Do you have experience sewing upholstery fabric? Welt? Zippers?
Do you have a photo of an original headrest? Some of these have button tufting on the back, too.
