That is an awesome find. Two possibilities off the top of my head:
1) Call your local DWR and ask if they can order a replacement shade from Gubi.
2) Install a small Nelson Bubble lamp rather than an original-type shade. I have seen one like this in the past and thought it was awesome. Still regret not buying it for $250 a few years ago....
