I'm about to ship my black, heavily worn vintage 670/671 cushions and arms out to a service in Massachusetts. They offer a service where by they reinforce sections of the leather from behind that are deeply cracked or worn and at risk of tearing and they also treat and add color back to the leather. They seem to have a good reputation and have been in business for many years. I'm just wondering if anyone else in the forum have taken similar actions to extend the life of their cushions. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Not on my Eames Lounge, but
I have had experience with the same method on a couple of classic automobile leather seats in my past. I never wore white pants again. Got any pictures?

I would just make new cushio...
I would just make new cushions for $950.00. check the internet many good people who do good work on cushions and you don't have to worry about them breaking or splitting.
