I've got a set........
I bought mine in a stereo shop in Boston MA
in the mid 80s.
To my listening, they perform as good now as when I bought them.
These are the best as effectivly small portable reference headphones, the engineering is truly outstanding.
Make note however, if you find a pair do not expect these to block outside noise. They weren't meant to do that.
They were engineered to accomodate a small external air chamber that the sound boards inside use for dynamic balance. Note the perforated surround on the cans?
Those of course could have been solid, right?
The holes help hold a pressure charge under vibration.
I wish you the best of luck obtaining, I believe they're quite rare.
ho yeah, i'm keeing mine!
