recently on the forum, someone posted a picture of a black iron accessory that I think was a big bowl on tripod legs or such to put logs or magazines in? Someone else knew the designer and had a catalog...if I remember correctly the family of the designer may be reissueing some of the furniture and the daughter may have been id'ing examples of her father or grandfathers work. Most of the furniture I remember from the catalog was similiar in materials to this desk....Does anyone remember that thread? any names or other salient clues I can follow to find it so I can review it?

thanks for your time,

that was me, posting the Designed for Moderns catalog showing the Sol Bloom designed catch-it-all. Designed for Moderns (name later changed to New Dimensions Furniture) used similar materials to the ones in your desk, but I don't think it is Designed for Moderns. And, we don't have any plans to re-issue any of it, though I learned from this forum that Modernica did something a while back - I'd be happy to post more pix, if anyone's interested, though (sorry to be so dense, what am I missing?) I can see how to post a link to a picture, but not a picture .. .

I would love to see more pics from the New Dimensions catalog you have. For easiest posting of photos you can direct link the image once you have uploaded it and paste the actual direct image link in the section "associated web images"
