Why is their description so lousy, tho?
It's always frustrated me that those live auctions on eBay have 95% less description than the regular auction items.
They don't list condition up front.
For their extra 15-30%, they could at least be straight up about detailed descriptions and condition.
I've never been moved to go the live auction route on eBay.....
geeze
that is what condition reports are for. every auction house in the world does as they do. interested in something? email, phone , or mail asking for a full condition report. as for the 20%.... that is how auctions make their money. i think if you email or call in for an absentee bid or phone-in bid you can skirt the Ebay extra costs and only pay the auction house.
a pretty basic sale by Wright's standards however... the GOOD stuff comes up in December!! get out your cheque-books!$!
Still would like info

Outside of the eBay environment, it's fine, but within the eBay environment, I want info.

Think of it this way -- the more hoops there are, the less willing the competition sometimes are to jump through them, leaving less players on the field. I scored this way once with these kinds of auctions. Wright20; amazing stuff, SHOCKINGLY overpriced on most items.
