Hi, I have found a Paul McCobb "Conoussier" cabinet in pretty bad condition. like indentations, the corner veneers are stripped, etc. A furniture place says to restain them, and putty the indentation, they will have to restrip the piece, re-veneer it and then restain it.
Will this lose the value of the McCobb?
