Just bought a vintage lamp designed by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Hotel in Copenhagen - the AJ wall lamp in a matte gray finish - does anyone know how long it was made in this color / was it only made for the hotel in this color? I have seen it re-editioned, but not in matte gray. - Stunning lamp, by the way.

We used to sell this ..
...particular model in grey and a coffee brown made by Louis Poulsen. The last catalogue I have with that particular model is from 1982. But it could have been on the market later.

Looking closer at the AJ -...
Looking closer at the AJ - wallmounted model that is available now, I also note that it has a lightswitch on the "wall-plate", that the stem of the lamp is attached off center to it and that it has an electrical cord that plugs in to an outlet. - My lamp is hard-wired (no switch, no visible cord) and the stem is centered on the wall plate - does this give you any info on when it was made?
