thank you so much! this forum is amazing. i was going to try to pick up the book 1000 chairs, but you all must have the pages memorized and then some.
i have the opportunity to buy a set of 4. they're so comfortable and i love that you don't see them everywhere. well, at least in Dallas, TX you don't.

I had them in red -- bar stool height-- in the early 80s or the 'high tech' era. My parents hauled them off to the salvation army and they said that people were approaching them as they entered with them. It still hurts to think about it! I recently bought and sold the chair height model in red.
