Pics
Hey guys, could you put up a couple of links to some pics, so it is easier to get a feel of what are talking about ?
Although, it is not really about what we love (or not), it is up to farah to say what she is after. It is up to us to offer some (or a whole host :o) of options to get some inspiration from. Since there were no style restrictions in the original question, I think we have the freedom to wander quite broadly in suggestions.
Another option would be to find a set of great vintage chairs from a local dealer, if there are some dealers nearby.
Killian
killian and i know how great milo baughmans stuff is !!!!!!!!! Timeless and unreal. He is bigger now than he was in the 70's when he was designing for Theyer Coggin
I picked up two chairs this week at a estate sale they said made in Italy by Mariami sold by Pace with stickers , I hit google and i got some website from Italy on mariani but It had rich Grandma furniture, for your castle in Bavaria really gaudy stuff and not this sleek stuff but i did find some chairs on 1st dibs take a look.
Killian I would like to go to Dublin sounds like it is a cool place, any Milo popping up around there cause we got plenty here ,
wow! thanks for...
all the posts! ite, great advice. i like the cuba and exa very much. and i definitely think that using the lighter wood would work best. i'll be contacting the importer soon to inquire about price and shipping. i love the cherner as well nevertheless i am looking to add something colorful and whimsical for the entryway, hence the mademoiselle. i will rethink it if i can find something else with those same qualities. when i have a bigger place, the cherner will move in for sure!
all, i haven't made up my mind yet, so please keep the suggestions rolling in. thanks again!
