Hi.
My wish list is simple.
~ Something interesting to place on the dining room table, perhaps a bowl. Something old.
~ A new iPhone battery.
~ An Ox chair if I had the space. Red leather. Make it a pair. With light patina. And 2 ottomans.
~ A shiny new car.
~ A neck lift.
Best,
Aunt Mark
(EDITED BE ME): I satisfied all of my wants/needs, the first time I heard the blues.
Chairs like the Ox are very demanding of attention. You practically have to plan an entire room, or house, around one. And it requires extremely deferential designs to co-exists around it.
As an auto analogy, you can drive an old Geo Metro to the grocery store, and you can upgrade it all the way to a top of the line BMW or Mercedes or Lexus its only minor adjustments to your routine, but you can't just pull in to the parking lot with a genuine Formula One race car.
Leif - Hopefully you will share your reassembled Mogensen room! I can only imagine how great it will look : )
Kyle - That Rosewood Skovby #65 is beautiful! I am definitely on the look out for a sideboard as well. I do plan on moving in the near future though so if I don't find one before then I won't really mind not having to move another piece of furniture : )
Spanky - I haven't ever sat in a womb chair, in fact as I write this I realize I haven't sat on many of the iconic chairs. I did sit on a Blue Dot Field Lounge Chair the other day in a shop and it was quite comfy with lots of room (I am 6'2). It has a bit of a Womb Chair vibe going on.
Mark - I like to imagine someone walking (rolling) into a job site with that tool box! It would turn a few heads I think!
Hi.
Its just me, Aunt Mark.
I saw this today. It can be added to my wish list, I guess. Thought that it was sweet, I did. Nice store. Hi.
Aunt Mark
