what kind of string on original Allan Gould chair?  

Hi -
the Allan Gould lounge chair I just bought is badly badly restrung with something that looks like white flagline; not only was there not enough to finish the chair, but whoever recovered it put a few knots in the middle of the back.....and I would like to give it a try and restring it both better and more true to the original - my problem is, almost every chair I see online has been restrung - does anybody out there have an original, untouched chair and if so - what was the origional string made of? Would you know where I can find it? Many thanks! bix
