what to do about deteriorating foam on Saarinen Executive chair?

I have an opportunity to get one of these, but the foam is getting funky in some places. Since this chair's shape is determined by the foam, I'm thinking of passing on it. Unless someone can convince me that it would be feasible to refoam something like this. It's like the one in the attached picture, except the foam is going.

What do you think?

Pass on it there are lots of them around ive had dozens and with good foam...

you will find others that still have life to them, and you can use for awhile,
