Three great books, a new red Mercedes GLK suv wagon. very sleek design..
The story of Eames furniture (really heavy)
The out of print,
Classic modern / mid century modern at home.
The modern architecture pop up book. really fun. a vitra miniature panton chair, We have set of 4 at the pool. and one of the best gifts a really fine mesh steal wallet sold by the MOMA store . it molds to your butt. so you don't have that big back bulge.super cool
mine was a very modern Christmas.....
Hope you all got what you Wanted Happy Holiday.

Me?
-Pre-war basket case radially-opposed-engine motorcycle. It appears to be a one-off. There are no numbers on the casings and the original lacquer, while covered in decades of dust, is un-crazed, allowing me to clearly see that there is no logo.
-The "Frey House II", through my interests in the P.S. art museum, for obvious reasons. I will allow continued tours on the off season.
-The stolen portrait of Francis Bacon done by Lucian Freud. Truly a guilty pleasure which I may need to rectify but it fits so nicely with the house.

Domus
Taschen did a twelve volume set of collected issues.
"Soul of a Tree" is a real artisans book. I wanted it to be more of a reference but it does give some insight.

Van Eyck
I was given socks and the missing panel to the Altarpiece of the Mystic Lamb! Anyone know how much this would be worth? Also, where is the best place to sell something like this?

I didn't get...
...another taxidermy squirrel with fishing gear but I did get "Danish Modern" by Andrew Hollingsworth, which wasn't quite the book I thought it would be but it's interesting.
I also got to shriek with laughter at seeing my dear son-in-law go from a sweet, unassuming geek to a creepy lothario just by putting on one of the fake mustaches I gave him. And then they put one on my little 2.5-year-old grandson and turned him into a mini Lt. Jim Dangle of Reno 911! We all bust a gut laughing. Best Christmas gift EVER.
