Here is a marked one: http://www.lauritz.com/da/auktion/hans-j-wegner-hoej-skaenk-af-teak/i417...
And based on the date, RY was not working with anyone else. (I think maybe RY was not exclusively a Wegner/Salesco shop in the late late 1960s)
You probably want better documentation, but you may have to go and buy an RY catalog from the right year for it....
Yeah, that one is really attractive. Almost makes me wish I'd bleached the interior. I had to make new shelves, unfortunately, and stain them yellow almost. Really nice contrast.
I find it interesting that the drawers are different colors on that one, too. That can't be intentional, can it?
The interior of mine is Oak, too. Just darkened and yellowed a bit with age. The top drawer in this one, the one in your link, and this one (sort of: https://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/storage-case-pieces/credenzas/teak-hig...) is darker. More pronounced in mine... I don't know.
Yes, I see what you mean. Unless the top drawers are a different wood or have a different treatment on them, I think it has to be coincidence, or some unintended consequence of everyone using the top drawer in a different way than the botttom drawer.
But really I think it has to be coincidence. Especially with white oak. Even if the factory picked darker boards for the top drawer, there is little gaurantee they would preserve that difference since oak can change color so much.
