Hi There, I have this wassily chair, with the remainder of a paper lable on the underside of the seat, the ends of the bars are welded - ie. not capped, and the leather is thick, how do I tell if it's Knoll? I've had knock offs before, this seems to be better quality!

At 6" tall, I find them unexpectedly comfortable. They suffice for general seating, not long marathons.

if you're 6 inches tall, you can only sit on a barbie doll chair.
I don't think
it's by Knoll. I used to have one looking exactly like the one pictured. It was a knockoff, made in Italy I think.
Awesome - thanks!
wow , learned a lot about the history etc.. I am inclined to agree that it is Stendig!
two joints on the base ?
Doing some research & I noticed all the examples have one joint in the center of the base in the middle, this one has two, 5 or 6" from the front and back. any thoughts?
Probably not Knoll.
There should only be one seam on the sled bottoms. And what do the hex screws look like? Here's a snap of mine.
screws at the base
Hex screws are silver (chrome I presume), the joints have two convex hex & a hole - for a foot, I'll post photo's with & without "foot"
