Perhaps you should read the forum guidelines - the ones that you're supposed to read "before posting" - the ones that respectfully state that you're not supposed to ask for values.
Next, you should read the thread on appraisals.
If the current price of that thing is $40, I'd think that's the current value. If you love it at that price, buy it.
If you want to sell it for more, do some research on your own since you'd be the one reaping the profits. If you think the value is higher than $40, by all means sell it for more.
