Hello,

I have recently found this vintage searchlight,
and wondering if there is anyone who has more
information on them that I was able to find out -
not much.

Thanks in advance,

András

What do you want to know?
I just Googled "Carlisle and Finch" and bam, there it is. Link after link after link.
It would help if you would tell us what you know, what you need to know, which links you went to, where the info dead ended, etc...
They appear to still be in business. Did you contact them? Did you join their Facebook page?

sorry
to look silly, but I hope someone
has specific information (if this one is complete,
what the serialnumbers can tell, where they were used,
possibly appx value)on the vintage ones,
as the companies website does not seem to have
any information on them, and they are not on Facebook.
Kind regards,
András

Helmet Mount
Wayward, if you mount one of these to a helmet, they're great for searching for furniture in attics and abandoned buildings. These were originally used by coal miners in West Virginia, but were banned by OSHA - Neck health can be an issue but you'll find great stuff. Of course you'll have to post your furniture finds here so we can provide resale values.

Can't you just send an email...
Can't you just send an email to this firm?
Such a nautical instrument seems a bit to specified for a forum like this. It's a beautiful thing, but can image there are better places to source information from...
Not being on facebook, I think that's a lazy excuse.
