Use...
I'm a fan of careful use. I've got an Eames/Evans chair that I use at my desk every day...carefully. None of my friends are allowed to sit in it, but they are allowed to sit in the RAR and on the LCW...carefully.

when you do have a friend over what do you say? "sorry reserved only for me"
I would not know how to be so brazen! as my friends would think I was rude, and a little obsessed about the chairs, especially my wife,
I would say this one is real uncomfortable you might like this one cause it sits better.

That's me too. I could not...
That's me too. I could not require my friends to have assigned seats. I have, in the past, been viewed by some as obsessive. I have done a good job at letting that go. I like it gone. Life is more enjoyable when you value people's comfort and enjoyment over inanimate objects.

I don't see how a friend that you like would abuse your stuff
But the lady across the street from me in a great home had the Wine Society over last week end and she said they absolutely trashed the house and these are not kids, 40 to 50 years old.
you would think their moms would have taught them better to have respect for other peoples properties ,

me too,!!!!!! on this one ,
I think anybody that collects good things and likes them and buys ona a continual bases would be considered somewhat obsessive .
I have loved buying all the chairs, and searched hard for the good stuff over the years and I feel that it has paid off cause now i really do own some great stuff, over time i have lightned up about the chairs cause i like to see guest enjoy them but i think the thing that gripes me the most are the brno leather chairs that i redid last year in a coach leather, It still freaks me out to see some slob drop food between their legs, cause that leather stains worst than any fabric on any chair....
