Speaking of the Barcelona Chair,
I just got a really cool 1964 Knoll price list (80 pages) and it lists the Barcelona Chair as costing $980.00 in 1964 dollars!
Amazing...Knoll was expensive even back then.

barry, that is like, what, about $6,548 in today's value, using the Consumer Price Index method? Or $12,953 in terms of nominal GDP per capita, which better reflects purchasing power?
How much is the chair today, for comparison?
whitespike, that is an interesting tidbit of information. How old is she?
