well as it seems...
Before the age of the net there has always been more readers to books than writers of such, so the future continues and those past inspired and educated by books now have an opportunity to add to the discussion of pages, hence this forum. I must admit as much as I wanted to raise my hand in class because I knew the answer, I was also in fear of raising attention to myself and being labeled or sub typed into a group. I think that?s what so great about a forum is the anonymity of not being seen but heard. Although their will always be those, such as LRF who have (likely) always had a need to raise there hand in the known and unknown?in the fight for time and knowledge objects and opinions are all that is left for others to judge and learn?for better of worse, we all must be a part of something and through this forum we in some little way contribute to a greater sense of humanity.

It's pretty difficult for me ...
It's pretty difficult for me to write down any idea in this forum.. because I don't have many experience with sharing my opinion on design and even if it's quite anonymous I feel a great response for every word I put online. However, I really feel a need to say thanks 🙂 it's great to discuss different views on design.. even reading about it is very interesting. I don't know whether sobebody of you noticed a design conference taking place in my capital.. Bratislava. although I'm just a design student.. it was great experience to listen to people from different countries talk about design.. :)one of them was Koen.. although my english isn't that perfect, and acoustic of the presentation room wasn't perfect either 🙂 the sentence about secondary.. and next functions of an object remained in deep in my thoughts.. 🙂 example with chair.. not just for sitting but mostly also for standing on was the one that convinced me to take a challenge this semester in designing a chair :)in considering not just a primary funcion
.. well.. I wanted just to say that discussion about design is the most neccessary part of education still missing in our school. that's why I really appreciate DA 🙂

I'm here!
I admit that I am not longer the mad poster I was a years or two ago, but I read the forum every day and I do try to take the time to post when a subject interests me. Lately ther ejust haven'yt been many threads that connect with my interests. Alix and Patrick have asked me to post on the blog about sustainability and modernism. I've been so busy lately...I got promoted at work...that I've not gotten started...I promise to do so soon!
