That's our Lunchy --
no stone unthrown -- or no turn unstoned ?
Take him with a grain of salt, tiny -- that's what we do. Have a nice day, all . . .

Good one, SDR...
Par for the course. You're quick becoming the most pointless poster on this forum for me.
If I have a jointery question I'll ask Heath.

I still can't understand why someone would want
new-looking runners on a vintage chair.

Aye, tktoo...
Seems a bit weird, doesn't it?
Why don't you ask SDR?
I'll tell you why. He'll probably give you some long-winded, contradictory and nonsensical non-answer to waste your time. That's why.

Am I missing something?
I've read this thread and the previous one. I can't see how selling some nicely made runners in the correct wood and clearly described as reproduction is wrong in any way at all? Its a legitimate replacement to a wear and damage prone moving part and further it seems eminently plausible that making a few sets was more cost effective than making just one. Give TA a break on this one. Or am I missing something?

Good thing to actually come...
Good thing to actually come from this thread:
I now know what Lunchbox's ebay account is.
I don't like him. He represents everything I dislike about this place.
My plan? I'm going to wait a while, delete this post and then bid on one of his items with the sole purpose of leaving him negative feedback. I will then repeat the whole prrocess with a different account.

Not a de-railment
Did this thread get back on track OK? A first for a thread about us!
On another matter entirely, I decided to take up a challenge and build a sputnik Chandelier...but not a typical sputnik chandelier - an actual sputnik space vessel turned into a chandelier.
It is my first lamp I've ever made.
I will post picks in a few days. Be gentle - and it would be really cool to hear some ideas on different ways to have it set in the best way possible - there is some flexibility in it's construction.
I'll post a new thread.
