My chairs are made of high quality chrome plated tubing.
The ends are welded closed. the closures are convex in shape and are seamless.

There is a large (38cm)length of tubing on each floor span connecting the tubing. It is secured with four protruding hex head screws(2 at each end).

The side bars are attached with recessed hex head screws.
The bars are to the inside of the main frame.

All other connections are made with recessed hex head screws.

The leather is thick and of high quality.

I bought these 15 yrs ago from a second hand furniture store.

Any help in identifying these will be very much appreciated.

Cheers,

Marianne

Edition
It's not a Thonet's edition but Gavina's (around 1962) because of the leather (not used before Gavina) and this kind of screws. Futhermore, Gavina's models are, most of the time, not signed, contrary to Thonet.
