I have this desk (in canada some people call this style a secretariat). I think it is teak on the front and rosewood inside the hatch and on the finished back and feet (?).
There are no marks and I was wondering if the particular style of feet or inset drawer handles were clues to a manufacturer or designer or even a country of origin? thanks for any comments

desk
Well, it may not be an official term but is one used in Canada to describe a certain style of open front desk...if you google it, you will see that others too suffer my delusion in this part of the world 😉
It almost looks like it was designed inside to hold a bar so perhaps I have it all misconstrued....thus the post...to learn
I will edit the title so no-one thinks I am referring to a famous racing horse desk!
I have included a picture of the finished rosewood(?) back
