Any ideas on who made this table and bench? Did some searching and nothing came up. I don't think its Overman because of the quality. Both table and bench have a "Made in Sweden" mark/stencil on the bottom.
A few reasons I don't think its overman:
I have never seen these legs on an Overman chair, table or sofa.
Quality seems too high for overman. The legs are pretty heavy steel, and the piece is much heavier than the typical aluminum overman base furniture. It also has some pitting that makes me think it is older than Overman. Notice the wood joints in the cross beam, tough to see in the photos.
I have an overman chair and nothing "materials" wise matches up
Does overman even make tables? come to think of it I've only seen chairs and sofas.

Maybe I'm just in denial!?

They are marked
"Made in Sweden" and the design of the base looks the same as Overman... yet you don't think they are by Overman, why?
I've seen a rectangular coffee table with the same base that appeared to have been designed to match the Overman sofa. I've also had Overman sofas with bases both of steel and aluminum.
If it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck...

update and clues
So I was able to get in touch with somebody at overman which is now located in Tenn. They confirmed that it was not made by overman from 1970's onwards. The woman I spoke with said that its possible that the bases were purchased from the same manufacturer, but again I can't seem to find a similar base on anything overman, let alone an overman table.
I was able to get in touch with the original owner who said they purchased the table and bench in London around 1950, which would also pretty much rule out overman.
Any other options on Swedish furniture manufacturers that would be selling in London in the 50's?
These are some reasons why I'm not convinced is an overman piece.

place in london
Heal's was pretty much the only store that sold scandinavian furniture in the 1950's. Their archive is held in the Victoria and Albert museum (olympia)
