swan chair serial numbers

Does anyone know anything about the serial numbers on Fritz Hansen swan chairs. Do they indicate when or where the chair was made? I have a chair with 7107 and i've been looking on ebay and there's one with 0563. So i'm curious what the difference is. Thanks!

Fritz?
Try emailing Fritz Hansen and asking. They have always been the manufacturer and could probably give you a lot of information based on the serial number.
