My guys told me years ago to stay away from two seat sofas as generally only one person will occupy the space and on a three seat sofa there will almost only be two people. In other words, the unit takes up too much space for only a single person.
My choice is always the Knoll Pfister sofa. A true classic design.
Regardless of your choice, save your money and purchase a quality unit that will last.
The rug in the photo is terrible. Please delete this photo and find a better picture or move to North Korea where this is appreciated and accepted. It is a good thing my friend The Ark is not writing, he would go wild. For the most part he does not like people and he loves dogs.

I would imagine that dog rug is the product of someones undying love for the pet, NO, loyal companion they lost and each day they woke there was a hole where that faithful hound once was, until....one day when talking to a friend they said" I miss that dog, he always sat right there next to my Juhl sofa still and calm like a beautiful canine rug.....Eureka!"

Having a taxidermied former pet would be about as comforting
as having a taxidermied spouse or family member.

Niceguy is right about two-seat sofas: The Womb is really only good for two people if they're small and friendly. If you don't need seating for two, though, but just want a place to nap or to stretch out and read, I think it's a great choice. It's pretty rare -- none of your neighbors will have one, and unlike the LC2 you won't see it in DWR or in any bank lobbies -- and you can find one for less than the cost of a new LC2.
The Sofa Compact is six feet wide -- still pretty small -- but seats two or three comfortably. It's half the price of an LC2, it's comfortable, and it fits your "not too deep" requirement better than anything else I can think of.
