I just found two articles on the history of France and Søn. Lots of interesting historical information and photos: http://mcm-interiors.blogspot.com/p/france-son-furniture.html
And the other
which is in Danish, but is legible via google translate:

I see there is still something bitter blowing from the east.
The first article is mine. I have always been frustrated at the dearth of information regarding France & Son so I have been collating information for quite some time.
I thought it would be good to write a small article and share some archive images which I have been lucky enough to obtain. This is an ongoing platform and I will be adding to it as and when I dig up new information.
All the information is from reputable archive sources, I have also been lucky enough to meet some members of the France family. It is entirely authentic.
I very much welcome anyone to contact me with any new information that they feel should be added or indeed any corrections, it would be great to build up a worthy reference to such an important manufacturer.
Nice work, H Moon
Much appreciated from this side of the Atlantic.
In fact, I think it was the long Bernhard Pedersen and Son info thread which first drew me to Design Addict. The 188/160 credenza/hutch was one of my first Danish acquisitions and that thread and link to the BPS historical website helped fuel my desire to learn more about individual pieces.
Keep up the good work. Unfortunately, I only have one fd piece (an Ole Wanscher two-seat settee), so can't offer much input to your project.

I would really love to know what the serial numbers on the medallion maker's marker indicates.
I thought it was interesting that France and Daverkosen started with mattresses, as I noticed that the cushions they made are unbelievably high quality. Each one actually has a paper tag floating around in the inside. And the foam is still just as good as ever, which is quite unusual for foam of that age.
