Hi,
I know that in newer Barcelona chairs the KnollStudio logo and signature of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe are stamped into the leg. I am looking for one barcelona chair that has stainless steel frame and in that chair, the KnollStudio logo and signature of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe are stamped under the cushion like in the picture attached. Is this chair authentic? Thank you for your help.
I am not an expert in Barcelona chairs. But why would any knock-off-producer go through the pain of meticulously copying the Knoll logo and the Mies signature to make the chair look as legit as possible and then stamp it in the wrong place? That doesn't make sense.
