Another mystery I would love to solve..... this teak bookcase is marked with the Soborg for John Stuart stamp, and is really nicely made. But I've never seen those legs before! And it is not in any of the vintage Soborg catalogs I have. Any ideas?

Although I couldn't find your bookcase neither, there are many pieces with similar legs in S

Thank you!! I did see those similar legs in the earlier catalogs, but they seem to lack the pinched, carved detail, and they are all set at the edges of the cases.... thanks for the recommendation to contact S

Difficult to say with these old pictures but I think that some of pieces have the same base with the small "space" between the case and the legs (sorry I have no idea how it is supposed to be called) but true that they do not seem to have the same carved legs (that remind me of Kai Kristiansen / Aksel Kjersgaard).

If you get an answer from S
