Hi. I have just recently obtained a piece by (i'm sure) the same artist? Did you find out anything about the artist? - I have been told by the seller that the artist (he?) operated in the Chicago suburbs and that he was active at art fairs throughout the Midwest United States (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan at least. Be interested if you ever had a response or found out more on this artist?
