i came across this Serge Mouille floor lamp in a Japanese online store. But the shape of the lamp seems a tad flat compare to the picture from designaddict. anyone?

The auction...
The auction states:
'Re-product of the classic.Floor lamp 'LAMPADAIRE 1 LUMIERE' from original mid-century design by French modernist Serge Mouille.
This lamp is made by IDEE.
IDEE is licensed manufacturer in Japan market'
What is a 're-product'? IDEE is licensed manufacturer. Licensed by whom and for what?
This seems to be a case of 'lost in translation'. Who knows? Perhaps this will work to the sellers advantage!
Maybe others can start to use this as a brilliant marketing scheme.
BUY,BUY,HAPPY & SHINY NICE! LAMP!

Gueridon in NYC sells...
Gueridon in NYC sells Mouille lighting that they market as "Licensed." From who, though, I have no idea. They are a reputable seller, so I doubt the claim is dubious....but anything is possible. Their prices are significantly higher than the Japanese seller

licensed from??
"Due to the rarity of Serge Mouille lighting, his spouse Gin Mouille decided to introduce a new edition originally designed in the early 1950's. The original precision craftsmanship is applied to this edition to maintain the integrity of the early work. Each shade is produced with the use of original moulds, proportions, materials and techniques. Each piece is stamped and numbered, and come with a certificate of authenticity signed by Gin Mouille"

The lamps mentioned by...
The lamps mentioned by Patrick and Alix are the real deal. They are still being manufactured, despite the sad passing of Gin Mouille in June last year. They are what I would call reissues or re-editions, and are referred to as "Edition Serge Mouille". The word "licensed" is never used.
As jesgord states, the prices are significantly higher than those on the Japanese website. There is no other licensed reproduction that I know of, and I don't see who would "license" it. Certainly not Gin Mouille.
The link below should provide all the necessary information for anyone who wishes to confirm this.
Edit: I see that the Gueridon site uses the word "licensed edition". Their lamps look real, as do their prices. Not sure why they would refer to them as licensed.

Serge Mouille Lighting
Yes, Gueridon, LLC is the official distributor of Serge Mouille lighting in the United States. All lamps are manufactured in France using the same forms designed by Serge Mouille himself. The family has kept the same tradition of quality in these re-editions as were evident in the original lamps produced in the 1950s. Each lamp arrives numbered and with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by a member of the family.
Thank you,
Jean-Philippe

Just got this same lamp at a yard sale today for $30. It was attributed as follows by Treadway back in 2004 with an estimate of $5-7K. I'm doubtful of the attribution. Thoughts?
807. Serge Mouille floor lamp, for Louis Sognot, attribution, 1950s, tripod base with counter weight supports stem with white enameled aluminum shade, adjusts to six positions, original finish, 45?dia. x 60?h, some wear, very good condition
Mouille lamps with a white finish were made exclusively for interiors and commissions by French designer Louis Sognot.
