Just won this set on auction. It's Rosewood and needs a bit of care, what would you suggest?

Oh
I didn't mean it was terrible; but a large faded rosewood table top is not a restoration job for a novice in my opinion.

Robert is right - its a job...
Robert is right - its a job for a french polisher. If its just refinishing thats needed (ie no major veneer losses) it may not be too expensive and newly polished rosewood is spectacular

well I'll see what kind of state its in when I pick it up and go from there ;-). Its a set by Frederick Kayser for Rastad Relling's offices here in Norway. Here's a closer look at the top
