Yes that's the lamp
Paulanna, that IS the lamp I was referring to. My neighbour has one in a shocking turquoise she would give me. I thought it might look kind of cool next to my modern black leather sofa. With those slender teak legs, it has a rather Danish aesthetic, no?

25 years a go i was the ...
25 years a go i was the biggest lamp collector i had them all mostly kitch lots of googie, lots of majestics, That vaulted me into the world of mid century modern furniture so i have a strong love for lamps, They are all really good, more good design then bad, everyone got into the act, Jacobsen, Panton, Gio Ponti Sonnomon, Nelson, all the Italians,Thurston, Aggelari Brothers , on and on, rocket lamps was just one of many that were great, they all had that atomic feel to them, also called "Bomb superiority' it was for the United States and meant we will never fear anything again,
When my taste matured for fine midcentury modern furniture i boxed up all the googies, and double shades in favor of a more refined, mid century design, like Karl Springer lucite, and Italian chrome balls, a good move on my part even thoe they were cool. they were the Rodney Dangerfield of the mid century world those lamps got no respect!!
