webbed Do you like your Risom lounge chair with arms or no? We have several without arms in the office. I find them quite comfy. I love to use two of them pushed together for a light snooze. Do the arms add or subtract from them in your opinion - both aesthetically and functionally.

Both
I own one sans arms, and i feel that it is a good sit, and a much more distinctive look. The armed version also sits/looks good, but looks slightly more generic "Danish" furniture. The arms also presage Risom's later style, where he suspends the seating elements within the frame.

Regarding both comfort and aesthetics, I too prefer without arms. The right kind of straps and color can make a difference.

Armless!
The armless version is all about the beautiful curves & webbing.
The angular arms and accompanying heavier legs of the other version detract.
Is it an optical illusion, or is it a wholly different seat on the two-- armed lounge chair is more pitched & curvier than side chair (?).

Illusion
Risom used the same seat shape (say that 3x fast) in a number of his chairs, including the webbed and upholstered versions.

Arms or no arms
Either way, they are beautiful chairs. I have one with arms but have sat in the armless one. I think form should always follow function and I am a lazy sitter so I like having arms. I can relax more. Still, the armless model is awfully cool.

I like the armed version better as well. Less flashy and more useful...
