Anyone here that might know of a reupholstery shop in the States they could recommend? Preferably the East coast, and someone who could handle reupholstering something as complex as, say, an egg chair, or swan, though this inquiry is not restricted to these designs only.

Any leads, sincerely appreciated.

Your work looks top notch, and I can especially appreciate the impetus for your being. I guess we've all been there; you look for something, come up dry, and finally dig your own well.
Let me ask -- do you work with leather reupholstery?

leather yes...
you name we do it ... leather turns out great on lots of chairs . The hardest to do is the egg chair now i know why Fritz Hansen charges so much for there new chairs all hand sewn ,
