Hi Vince
I've been searching for that part for about a year now and no such luck. The only thing I've found is a vintage swivel base on ebay. Last one I saw went for 600$. eek.
If you find such a piece please let me know!

My New/old Plycraft
check out the plycraft I picked up. great shape...some welding on the tilt that leaves a bit to be desired, but worthy of restoration. The leather is a low grade, but without rips/tears. The welting is all done in vinyl, interesting enough. Was cool to find one with the bent arms and aluminum base. I plan on restaining the plywood walnut and possibly recovering with better leather, as well as repadding.

has anyone seen these?
check link out. just recently came across this repro. seems that Scandinavian Designs/DANIA carried something similar a few years back...for around the same price. Looks to be very close the real thing :-0

Plycraft chair finally finished
I had ambitions of reupholstery, but ended up refinishing only the plywood and hardware.
The chair is much improved now. I plan on selling soon...to finance the real thing 🙂

chair looks good those ...
chair looks good those were the last genertion of plycrafts made starting in 66 till they went out of business
They were getting more gutsy by making the base and arms more Herman miller like, those chairs are worth a little more than the selig and plycrafts from 59 to 65
