Have seen another thread similar to this, my question is with a longish drop from a cathedral type ceiling how do you make the wire hang pencil straight? mine seems to show all the little kinks no matter how I fiddle with it! kind of distracts from the big UFO Saucer type shade, All best Paul

Most
wire I've handled can eventually be straightened -- it just take patience and a delicate touch. But many types of wire can be smoothed by drawing under tension over or past or through a mandrel -- or between the fingers. It may curl, but the kinks will be gone, and the weight of the fixture will then make it hang in a straight line. But you'll have to take it off the ceiling for this procedure.

.
If the fixtures is heavy will be OK alone in a couple of days or a week.
If it's a very light one, I second SDR, just be patient and with little work with your hand, will be OK.
