repairing this chest of drawers  

Take a drawer
with a handle, and the one which is missing its pull, to a cabinetmaker/woodworker. Ask if he or she can replicate the handle. It would be a matter of copying the profile using a table saw, and some shaping and sanding. Then the remains of the missing handle would be unscrewed or, if originally glued, planed off, and the replacement fastened on. It will cost more than you hope, probably, but not more than the piece is worth. Matching the material and color will be the tricky part. Too bad the missing piece wasn't saved; repairing is usually cheaper than making a new part.

a credenza with the same pulls ..... and the same problem. Luckily mine came with all the parts. It was a Falster piece.
