repainted gufram green cactus

Hi, I have the opportunity to purchase a gufram green cactus but have been told that it has been repainted.. Not sure with what. Photos look good but am I right in assuming this affects the value? What should one pay for it in this condition?

I have the Guido Drocco & Franco Mello, Cactus coat rack and the Piero Gilardi, Sassi rocks for Gufram and I ask why would you ever want this Cactus repainted (unless it is white and then it may be one of the more recent new issues from Gufram). Poltrona Frau now owns Gufram so it is worth checking to see if your Cactus could be returned to the Gufram facility to be refurbished (the "paint" is a rubberized product similar to that found on hand tools in non-slip red). The original packaging is a plain cardborad carton. I would pass on any non factory finish that is not correctable by the manufacturer. Save your money.

Im looking to purchase one of gufram kaktus (painted or not).
Can you give me any advise where I can find one and what should be the price.
